What Should The Minimum Age To Join a Gym?
On the very
first day of this universe the kid moves his body parts naturally, and when he
became tired he stop his movement. If we observe his movements and compare them
with the movements of gym exercises then these are surprisingly similar,
because all exercises in the gym follow simple movements of body like rotations,
Flexion and Extension. So why our parents don’t allow us at our minimum age to go
to gym, is there any disadvantage to join gym at the age of 12, 14 or 18. We
are going to figure out this thing.
Best Age to Start Gym
There are
two kinds of exercises.
- · Home Workout
There is not
any kind of age limitation for home workout; everyone should have makes a plan
for his workout training to spent healthy life. You can start this at the age
of 10 also because there is not any heavy weight training included in this kind
of workout.
- · Gym Workout
But the
restriction came when you want to go gym. There is not any fixed minimum age to
join a Gym. In some countries gym age limit may be applied by the government. A
lot of people ask by me that, What is the right age to join gym? so the answer
is, everyone can start gym at 14 or 15 but in the guidance of a good trainer. There
are some exercises which can effect of your height so your trainer will guide
you that which exercises you should avoid at gym. But if your height is more
than 5 feet (60 inches) at 14 years old so you can do any kind of exercise in
the guidance of your personal trainer.

We
all know the Great Arnold Schwarzenegger, but you might be not know that he
started his weight lifting training at age of 15, he won MR. Universe title at
the age of 20 years old and he won seven times Mr. Olympia contest in his life.
so it’s not matter that what’s your age at the initial level of your weight
training, the main thing is those exercises which you perform in the gym, if
you perform those exercises which is suitable for you then you can be muscular
at age of 20 and if you did those exercises that not good for you then you can
be in trouble in future, so always do exercises in the guidance of good trainer
and no matter what’s your age.
Things that should you avoid
Always keep
in your mind that, don’t try any kind of workout without the permission of your
trainer, and your trainer should be have a good knowledge about exercise. If you
feel any side effect in your body in the initial months of your gym then so have
to share this to your trainer then he will change your workout plan.
Workout routines for beginners
Three to
four days is enough per week at the initial level. It depend to your goal that
which kind of physics you want to achieve, there is 3, 4 and five days workout
plan. You can discuss this with your trainer and he will give you the best advice.
In my opinion 3 to 4 days is good at initial level, and after three to four
months you can increase your days according to your plan.
